What is Mesotherapy? The benefits, the treatment and aftercare…

Mesotherapy treatments are non-surgical and involve quick injections into the mesodermal (surface) layer of the skin. These injections contain a combination of vitamins, minerals and other components naturally found in the skin, such as hyaluronic acid that diminishes with age. There are different types of mesotherapy that can be administered. Each designed and tailored depending on what the concerns such as collagen loss, hair loss, cellulite or even excess fat. A typical mesotherapy cocktail might generally contain over 50 active ingredients to nourish, repair and rejuvenate skin.

Does it hurt?

How often do I need Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy for skin rejuvenation is generally given in a course of treatments with results lasting between 3-5 months. Top-up treatments will be required to maintain the results. Treatment protocols vary depending on the indication and serum used.

Aftercare

The skin may have pinprick marks & tiny blebs/bumps at the injection site dependent on the device and or product used to administer the product.

There may be some redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising which should settle within days.

Makeup should not be worn for 12 hours

Results will not be immediate but will develop over time, and a course of treatment will be required as advised by your clinician to work with your personal needs.
