Our Phlebotomy Training Course is for both medics and non-medics. A fully qualified nurse runs the class. You will receive the highest quality of training using both needles and cannulas. What is a Phlebotomist?
A Phlebotomist is a qualified professional trained to draw/extract and prepare blood for medical testing, transfusions or donation. Doctors and nurses carry out these phlebotomy procedures.
How to become a Phlebotomist?
To become a Phlebotomist you may need core GCSE subjects such as Maths, English, and Science, although there are no set requirements. Previous experience or qualifications in healthcare would also be beneficial. Working in Healthcare assistant roles such as pathology are given on the job training.
